Our History

The inception of Chattogram Heart Foundation is a remarkable venture in the history of Chattogram---the second largest Metro City of the country. Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus former Principal Secretary to the humble Prime Minister, Gob is the Dreamer and founder president of the executive committee of this charitable and humanitarian effort. This charitable organization has been incepted to provide effective services to heart disease-affected patients who are mostly poverty-trodden insolvent people and cannot avail of expensive treatment facilities. It’s important to mention that heart disease sufferers in the Chattogram region are mounting up in an alarming manner, but treatment facilities are not up to the requirement yet. Particularly the poor’s and insolvent groups are almost at the mercy of the Almighty because expensive treatment is beyond their reach and ability. To address this humanitarian necessity, Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus, with the support and cooperation of the other founder members of Chattogram Heart Foundation took up the initiative to establish the organization to ensure treatment facilities for the insolvent group.

We are optimistic that this venture will grow up and develop through the effective contribution of generous & rich ones to bring down this mortifying disease and thus save the lives of thousands from untimely death.
It’s a fact that the inception of a healthcare institution is a bit tough compared to other ones. It needs vigilant and constant discussion as well as reviews about the impact, prospective, viability, etc. to overcome the hurdles, seen and unseen threats as well as to convert the hostile atmosphere into an opportunity for smooth expansion and development of this dream child so that it could face and play the role to contribute to the cause of suffering humanity and thus fulfill the expectations for which it is incepted.

The journey is not a smooth one. Every step may face obstacles but determination and sincere commitment are bound to usher in a new era enabling this newborn baby to grow up in a safe and sound environment so that it could be an iconic model for the present and future generations.
